Birthdays September 5, 2008
This week is my birthday and I just wanted to share the joy I’ve found in birthdays in recent years. I think they are the perfect reason celebrate the people you’ve been blessed with in your life, under the guise of your special day. I think people need a reason to celebrate, let loose, enjoy each other and themselves. Sure, living in the central coast of California is pretty easy living, very easy to enjoy life. Yet I have noticed that the more love and energy I give the people in my life in honor of my birthday, the better the celebration is for me because it just feels so good to give. I use this new year in my life to remind myself to be as thankful and gracious as possible for all the amazing blessings in my life. I am truly humbled by it all as each year really does get better and better.
