i don’t like to sweat…

“I don’t like to sweat because my tan will run.”

“I just peed on myself.”

“I want to do Hot Yoga. I want to lose 10 pounds today because I have dinner at the Applebees tonight and I need to look hot.”

Just a few quotes from one of the following ridiculous and hilarious yoga satire videos from www.yogadork.com.  Funny! They seem to be popping up more and more, and as a yogi who doesn’t take herself or her practice too seriously, I like them. It is good to remind ourselves not to take it all so seriously.  The Inappropriate Yoga Guy is pretty freaking hilarious too.

The Inappropriate Yoga Guy is pretty freaking hilarious too. Reminds me of my friend Brad 😉

Oh my goodness, thanks for the sequel JimGolds69 and for Hardly Working Jasmine. These are awesome and I’ll be sure to come back to them whenever I’m taking myself a little too seriously.

“Real men should have long hair, no ass, and should never be able to do yoga better than me.”

Jasmine, I love comments and am glad you enjoyed my ramblings. If you like this blog you can follow it via rss feeds on the right, which allows you to add my blog to your google home page or something similar. I’m still trying to figure out how to allow people to get the entries via e-mail. I try to post once or twice weekly.

Yoga has been a great practice for me and I hope you find some value in the practice as well. Keep on hitting the mat, and I’ll keep on hitting the computer 😉

I love the Inappropriate Yoga Guy! Have you seen Hardly Working: Yoga Class? It’s hilarious!

I stumbled upon your blog whilst searching up ways to deal with loss. I’m sorry to hear that someone you knew died. It’s always sad to hear of death, even if it’s no one particularly close to you or a loved one. I read a couple posts in your blog and have decided I really like it! I’m new to blogs in general, but is there a way I can follow this blog?

Heck, I don’t even know if you like comments! But know that someone is reading. The Yogi’s life is always so interesting. I am relatively new to Yoga, so I am really finding both pleasure and knowledge in reading your blog. I will be checking out some of your other posts now, so please don’t be annoyed if I reply to a few more of them.

Thanks to you and the folks at YogaDork for spreading the fun with these videos. I created these as a way to tackle some of the spiritual materialism (thanks T!) that can unfortunately replace the sincere spiritual qualities of a yoga practice. Check out the sequel, you might find it funny also! Enjoy, “JimGolds69”
