Private Yoga June 10, 2009
No, it’s not called private yoga because it’s a secret. Private or one-on-one yoga sessions are a great opportunity to develop a home practice, to help take your current yoga practice to the next level, or to introduce you to yoga if you’re curious what all this fuss is about. These sessions will be physically challenging; expect to work up a sweat, challenge your body and those tiny muscles that you didn’t know existed. FOR A LIMITED TIME, get your first private yoga session with Roxtar for free. That’s right. No Joke. What was the last time you got something so great for free? Take advantage of this special offer today, because it will not last. Click here to sign up for a private yoga session today!
Common goals of private instruction
- Home Practice Development: Students frequently want to practice yoga more often than they can come to group classes. Practicing at home is a great supplement to group classes at a studio. A home practice can be wonderful way to explore your true self, your resistance on the mat (and probably in life), the relationship between the body, breath, and life itself. It can help you learn how to tune in to your internal intuition and breathe which we seem to lose touch with so easily in our day to day lives. I will guide you through a home practice sequence once (or more if you need it) so you leave familiar with how to practice on your own safely and effectively. Not sure if you’re up for practicing at home? There are some great articles on this from yoga journal.
- Personalized Yoga Coaching: Yoga students and lovers frequently benefit from personalized help to deepen their yoga practice. These sessions include feedback on how to properly perform yoga postures and adaptations for your individual goals and body. Having an instructor help guide you in your practice to give you specific feedback and adjustments can help you notice tendencies you didn’t know existed and help you find a new, deeper level in your practice. These sessions can focus on specific poses, sequences, styles of yoga, or challenging muscle groups.
